Ingredients: Duck Breast – 2

Seasoning for each duck breast: Chinese BBQ Pork Sauce – 3 TBsp; Mirin – 2 TBsp; Garlic Powder, Sea Salt, Montreal Seasoning – a few shakes of each.

1. Clean, wipe dry and score the duck breast diagonally – both sides. Since it is important not to cut through the meat, using a pair of scissors (a better tool to control how deep the cut goes in) is easier than using a sharp knife.

2. Season the duck breast and one good trick is to spoon the seasoning into the diagonal opening. Chill the marinated duck breast for a few hours or even a few days for better penetration of seasoning into the meat.

3. Warm up airfryer at 400 degree F. Then line the drawer of airfryer with foil for easy cleaning and apply cooking spray.

4. For medium: Air fry duck breast – skin side down at 400 degree F for 5-7 min. Then flip and air fry for another 2-3 min. Be prepared to turn the temperature down to 375 degree F to avoid over-browning. It is great to serve the duck breast with a side dish.
Note: It is OK to keep air fried duck breast warm in oven covered with foil until time to serve.
